By the end of each course, you will have explored:
The Department of Agriculture, Environment & Rural Affairs has generously funded the development and roll out of the Carbon Literacy programmes across NI via the Carrier Bag Levy. This provides individuals with the opportunity to learn more about the urgency of the climate change challenge we face together as well as how to take action in our own lives to become part of the solution. The programme looks at climate change in Northern Ireland as well as across the globe and explores ways that we can focus the power of our local communities to ensure that we are all protected and all have a voice.
All Carbon Literacy Programmes offered by Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful are certified for delivery by the Carbon Literacy Project, an award-winning organisation that has delivered climate-change education across the globe.
